Kolka Orthodox Church of the Birth of Christ
Around year 1885 a high number of Kolka residents accepted the orthodox faith and an orthodox parish was established in Kolka.

Kolka is the only coastal village where, in 1890 (other sources state 1891–1892), an Orthodox church was built (Architect Apollons Ēdelsons of the Riga Diocese, contractor Voosts). In 1982, the congregation had to give up their church, and the church was demolished.

The fieldstone masonry building with red brick finishing, a rectangular layout, built altar part, a tower with a metal roof, and two onion-type domes were restored from 1989 to 1999. The bell was installed in 1936.
